ColdPlay

Coldplay é uma banda de rock alternativo formada em 1998 em Londres, Inglaterra. O grupo é composto por Chris Martin (vocais, teclados, guitarra), Jon Buckland (guitarra), Guy Berryman(baixo) e Will Champion (bateria, vocal de apoio e outros instrumentos).

Em seus primeiros trabalhos, sua sonoridade foi comparada com bandas como Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, U2 e Travis. Conseguiram a fama mundial com o lançamento do single "Yellow", seguido do seu álbum de estreia, Parachutes (2000), que foi nomeado para o Mercury Prize. O segundo álbum da banda, A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), ganhou vários prêmios, incluindo o NME de álbum do ano. Três anos depois, lançam o álbum mais esperado e vendido do ano, X&Y (2005), seu terceiro álbum de estúdio que recebeu várias críticas positivas.
